Poem-a-Day:The Joys of Walking
The Joys of Walking
Walking:
Challenge now, with
Creaky knees, stiff movement,
Yet on good days what a joy to
Move, explore, observe the city, see life!
Memories all around me as
I amble on, ponder
All I see while
Walking.

Marlys,
I can equate w/ the "creaky knees"!
But, until ALL the snow is melted, i don't dare venture outside. Besides, unlike Chicago, there ain't much to see in Beecher. Heck, the airport mentioned 40 years ago is still farmer's cornfield.

Thanks, Walt. I haven't done much walking lately, but there's plenty to see here. The snow is gone, too, but it's been a tough winter.
