Rictameter of the Day: Sugar Sweetness

Sugar Sweetness

S
ugar.
Grains of sweetness,
Joy or bane to health? No
Matter what the dangers we still
Love you, eat our cakes, our cookies, candy.
Poor nutrition, foe of teeth, but
Yet we can't ignore your
Lure, temptation,
Sugar.

How did you ever think to write about sugar? It's just great!

What I choose to write about (beyond the alphabetical pattern I'm now following) shows a lot about my interests and concerns. That's one reason I like writing rictameters so much. My rictameter book reveals a lot about my life, not all of it positive.

hmmmmm. That sounds like the next of your books I should buy! I STILL haven't finished Reading Lolita in Tehran. It's not that I don't fully appreciate the book, either. I've just been doing so much with my blog, and Mike and I both have had a horrid virus for two weeks, and Pyewacket just had feline dentistry so is under home care, and .....

(Poem about my father is posted at my blog. Feels very good to have it out there. Yikes! It's 3:00 a.m. - I'll never get well if I keep these crazy hours.)
